UNISON Meeting in Tromsø, Norway

On March 27th and 28th , We held our consortium meeting at UiT Tromso to discuss the advancements of UNISON after one year of hard work and contributions to the project. We would like to thank our partners at UiT for their organization as well as everyone for their participation and the fruitful discussions.
Presenting our latest research at Euro-MBE 2025 in Auron!
Our team showcased advances in direct MBE growth of GaSb on Ge-based platforms for integrated mid-infrared photonics. By refining surface prep and optimizing growth, we achieved APB-free GaSb layers with ultra-low roughness—paving the way for III-V lasers on Ge photonic platforms. Big thanks to our collaborators at Université de Montpellier, RIBER SA, and L-NESS Politecnico di Milano, plus support from France 2030 & Horizon Europe UNISON!
ETH Zurich Meeting and SENSIRION lab visit
Zurich, Switzerland – October 2024
On the 17th and 18th of October, we held our six-month general meeting of the UNISON project at ETH Zürich, bringing together partners from across Europe to review our progress and set the course for the next phase. This meeting provided a valuable opportunity to align on our goals, share insights, and discuss the future of the UNISON project.
In addition to the productive sessions, we were fortunate to tour the laboratories at both ETH Zurich and Sensirion. The insights gained from these visits solidified our vision for the project and fructified the discussions

Exciting times at La Fête de la Science at C2N in the beginning of this month ! We had the fantastic opportunity to present the UNISON project.
It was a great experience to connect with the public and present our objectives and upcoming work.
