🔹 MIOMD Presentations in Vienna, Austria – July 2025
UNISON was proud to sponsor and participate in MIOMD 2025 in Vienna. We presented our first results and had valuable discussions with the research community in both talks and poster sessions. Looking forward to sharing more as the project progresses!
🔹 EuroMBE Workshop 2025 – Auron, France
The UNISON team presented new results on the direct MBE growth of GaSb on Ge-based platforms, targeting mid-infrared integrated photonics. Anti-phase boundary-free GaSb layers with ultra-low roughness mark a key step toward III-V laser integration on Ge. A collaborative effort with Université de Montpellier, L-NESS (Polimi), and RIBER.
🔹 Frequency Combs Workshop 2024 – Ghent, Belgium
The team attended a cutting-edge workshop on frequency combs, exchanging ideas with leaders in the field. We shared early insights from the UNISON project and explored new directions in mid-IR photonics.
🔹 ECIO 2024 – Aachen, Germany
CNRS presented our work on chirped Bragg gratings for on-chip pulse compression in the mid-infrared. A great opportunity to connect with the European integrated optics community and showcase UNISON’s aim and objectives regarding innovative photonic solutions.
